Corinne has been working in the field of early child education in one capacity or another for most of her professional career. In that time, she has been a teacher in infant/toddler and preschool programs, a home visitor, parenting educator, an early childhood center director, and curricula developer & trainer.
The gift of participation in a quality early learning program, regardless of program model, is something that she has seen make remarkable change for good in the lives of children and families.
Corinne is excited to see the direction our region is moving towards in strengthening our collaboration efforts for the betterment of our communities and systems.
Lauren Halliday-Haywood
Early Childhood Specialist

Lauren is an Early Childhood Specialist working with the Every Child Belongs Initiative, partnering with service providers to support young children through relationship-based practices and fostering healthy social-emotional development.
She has completed an Associate’s of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Cuesta Community College in California, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Development from Southern Oregon University. Lauren’s past experience includes working with children and families in diverse educational settings and roles, including family engagement, teaching, and assisting children with special needs.
Lauren is excited to partner with our community to support inclusion and accessibility to quality early childhood education services for all children and the adults in their lives.
Regina Gingery
Community Navigator

Regina is a Community Navigator, partnering with families, providers, and community organizations to increase access to early learning opportunities and family support services. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with families and connecting them with resources that support children’s growth, development, and success.
She has several years of experience working with children and families through early childhood education, Head Start, and public health. Before joining SCREL, Regina worked as a Public Health Aide with the WIC program, providing nutrition education, health screenings, and connections to community resources. She also served as a Lead Teacher in preschool classrooms, where she supported children’s learning and development while gaining valuable experience partnering with families through Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
Regina holds an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies and is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to better support young children, families, and the early learning community.
Outside of work, Regina is the mother of three teenagers and enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Oregon coast, caring for her animals, and finding new ways to connect with her community.
Sevana Ryer
Community Navigator

Sevana brings four years of experience with Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) Self-Sufficiency as a Benefits and Eligibility Worker, where she helped individuals and families access essential resources , including food, medical, cash, and childcare benefits. She also has experience serving as a Community Partner, assisting community members with Oregon Health Plan applications and connecting them with healthcare resources.
Throughout her career, Sevana has been passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex systems, ensuring they receive the support and services they need. She values building trusting relationships and empowering families to achieve their goals.
Sevana is excited to work alongside families, helping them meet their unique needs, access resources, and thrive within their communities. She looks forward to making a positive impact in the community.
Skaidra Scholey Tilley

Skaidra focuses on implementing the Prenatal through Third Grade Alignment project in our communities.
Skaidra initially working at the SCREL Hub as the Regional Coordinator for Home Visiting. Previously, she was the Program Development Director and Recruiting Manager for North Bend Medical Center. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Systems and a BA in Asian Studies from University of Hawaii at Manoa.
She is an advocate for positive change on the South Coast, bringing together non-traditional partners, and applying her organizational leadership development work experience in early learning.

TJ Cooper

TJ Cooper is the Deputy Director of the South Coast Regional Early Learning (SCREL) Hub, where she supports regional systems coordination and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen services for children and families across Coos, Curry, and Coastal Douglas Counties.
TJ brings nearly a decade of experience leading education, early learning, youth, and community-based initiatives. Her work has focused on building collaborative partnerships, managing grant-funded programs, facilitating cross-sector collaboration, and advancing systems that improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.
Prior to joining SCREL, TJ served as Program Manager for Recruit HIPPO at the Southwestern Oregon Workforce Investment Board, leading regional workforce initiatives and expanding career-connected learning opportunities through partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations. She is committed to collaborative leadership and strengthening equitable, coordinated systems that support children, families, and communities throughout the region.
Vanessa Broadley
Community Engagement Coordinator

Vanessa Broadley is a passionate advocate for families and communities, bringing over 12 years of experience in youth development, family engagement, and community empowerment. She began her career supporting children and families through the YMCA and later served as a Family Engagement Specialist and Parent Educator with South Coast Head Start/ORCCA. Her deep-rooted commitment to equitable access and family support continued in her role as a Community Navigator with the South Coast Regional Early Learning (SCREL) Hub, where she facilitated monthly Parent Cafés and connected families across Coos, Curry, and Coastal Douglas counties with vital local and state resources.
Now serving as SCREL’s Community Engagement Coordinator, Vanessa focuses on building collaborative relationships between systems and the communities they serve. She works to ensure that family and community voices inform program development and delivery, with a special emphasis on elevating those from underserved backgrounds.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from California State University, Los Angeles. As a proud military spouse, she has lived in diverse regions across the U.S. with her family and their beloved dog. She thrives on connecting with others, embracing new experiences, and championing resilient, thriving communities.
Vera Maas
Operations Director

Vera began her career training and implementing software systems across a variety of industries, including healthcare and government. She enjoys taking on new projects and empowering people as they navigate change. While she gained valuable experience during that time, after more than a decade in the corporate world, she chose to pursue a more purpose-driven path.
Vera transitioned to the nonprofit sector after volunteering with a local domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse advocacy agency. Over the years, she advanced into leadership, serving as Director of Grant Management, Finance, Operations, and Administration. Supporting and leading a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference has been deeply fulfilling for her. She is excited to bring her experience and passion for service to SCREL.
